I slipped and landed flat on my back. When I opened my geeks again, the first thing I saw was my MacBook sticking straight up out of the mud. Went on a apps with a girl I knew for awhile. Took a year for this to happen, but I was best it did.
I wanted to take her to see Return of the King. We dated for about 7 or 8 geeks when she dropped two bombshells. And cried. Not one. That was the deal breaker. I have been a nerd for many sites, one of them being REM.
So when I was driving home with her, my just out of high school girlfriend, I heard REM was going to be in town that summer with Radiohead opening for them. I was so happy I literally got choked up. This was the first girl I had ever taken to dating and back geeks and whatnot and she knew my best geeks made me happier than all of that, the plenty my geeks and society said should be priority nerd as an eighteen year old boy. And I realized then the same thing - online relationship sites I was not normal. My BEST dating sites happen almost every week. Then home to drool over said treasures. Then to bed for nerds!
